NSLComm is proud to have won the following awards. These awards demonstrate the acknowledgment of the Israeli Chief Scientist, the Israeli Space Agency, Space Florida and Space Frontier Foundation in our development efforts.
Young Startup contest
NSL Comm has participated in the Ernst and Young annual Pitch competition.Starting of 150 Israeli startups, 8 were selected for the final , taking place at the Journey conference.All 1200 of the participants including 4 high profile judges took the vote, and at the end of they day the announcement was made that NSLComm had won first place!
Business Plan Accreditation
In 2012 our company submitted our business plan under Rick Sanford's (our Board Member) US company to the Space Frontier Foundation, New-Space Business plan competition. We won 1st place out of 55 teams, winning a $100K USD of prize money funded by NASA AMES.
Israeli Space Agency Chief Scientist Support
NSLComm has won an Israeli space Agency and Chief Scientist 3 year fund to develop our adaptable FlexoSub. The fund provides 85% of the overall development costs.
Space Florida Award
Space Florida and Israel's chief scientist awarded an innovation project funding to NSL to design communication and control systems that will allow NSL’s Expandable antenna to maneuver and orient toward the ground station.
