Dr. Raz Itzhaki-Tamir

Co-Founder and CEO

 

Raz has managed multiple satellite programs since 2002 where he integrated various satellites as well as sub-systems on Israeli satellites.

 

Raz is an expert in the fields of Nano-Satellites and algorithms. Prior to NSLComm in 2006 he established the Nano-Satellite department at the Israel Aerospace Industries, where he was responsible for the initiation of seven Nano-Satellite programs. Raz is also the CEO of INSA, the Israeli Nano-satellite Association. 

 

Raz Received his PhD in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2005 and an MsC in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion University in 1997.

 

Raz has over 20 years of experience and more than 5 patents in the fields of algorithms, computer vision and advanced space solutions.

Daniel K. Rockberger

Co-Founder and COO

 

A veteran space engineer, D. Rockberger has designed and flown numerous  parts and structures on a varied list of communication satellite missions for world renowned Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd (IAI).

In addition to this, Dr. Rockberger has personally designed five NanoSatellites (including the first Israeli Nano-Satellite, Inklajn-1)

 

In addition to his duties with NSL Comm, D. Rockberger is also presently the deputy project manager of the Venus Satellite for CNES (French Space Agency) on behalf of IAI.

 

D. Rockberger is a graduate of the Technion in Mechanical Engineering, and has a Masters from the International Space University.  His Masters Thesis was conducted at the NASA Goddard Flight Center working on NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

D. Rockberger is also active in the Ilan Ramon Scholarship fund that annually sends Israeli students to the International Space University raising over $500K in 6 years for scholarships.

Danny Spirtus

Co-Founder and CTO

 

Danny is the RF and antenna system design and architecture at NSLComm. Prior to NSLComm he was the CTO of RaySat Broadcasting Corp., providing the AT&T CruiseCast in-car live TV services in the USA, responsible for the design, production and implementation of different products capable of one-way and two-way in-motion satellite communications. Mr. Spirtus served as VP R&D of RaySat Israel, designing and developing new in-motion antenna technology - RaySat was a market pioneer in the low cost one-way and two-way antenna products for commercial and consumer markets. He was the Leader of the antennas and earth station R&D and engineering groups at Gilat Satellite Network (Nasdaq symbol: Gilt).

 

Danny has over 20 years of experience and more than 10 patents in the field of satellite communications. 

Elyashiv Maller

CFO

 

For the last 4 years, Elyashiv served as the Resource Development Director of the Ramon Foundation named after res. Ilan Ramon (Israeli first astronaut). 

 

Before joining the Ramon Foundation, Elyashiv served in senior positions in the Israeli capital market and managed very large-scale investments.

 

Elyashiv was born in October 1973 in Moshav near Tel Aviv and has two other siblings.

 

Elyashiv is married to Hagit and a Father to Dan (9) and Alma (1).

He holds a master's degree cum laude in Business Administration majoring in Finance.

 

Elyashiv volunteered in "Mada" (Israel first Aid organization) for many years as a paramedic and an ambulance driver.
